We're looking for a competent dental secretary to make the dentist's office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You will provide excellent service to patients and relieve dentists of basic administrative and dental tasks.
Dental secretaries need to be well organized and pay scrupulous attention to detail. You must be able to follow instructions and comply with dental office regulations. We're looking for someone who can streamline administrative procedures as much as possible.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatments or examinations, ensuring their comfort
- Undertake laboratory tasks as instructed
- Provide instructions on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Keep dental office clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Accurately update patient records and assist with payment procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an equivalent position
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
